re-doing it: This is a nice collection of photos. These pictures certainly make this place look more inviting as a residence instead of a convention center. Some really nice cozy rooms shown here (all a matter of photographic angle I think).NIX on the trophy room! And I'd still re-do the 'rock' rooms.Oh... and the garage. Somebody really liked red cars here... boring!!Love seeing what this place looked like. Thanks for finding these pictures for us E!
I am sure Michael had plenty of cars to put into that huge garage and that none of them were red - as far as I know all of Michael's limos were black. :)The grotto is part of the swiming pool area. I am not sure there's much room to redo anything here unless you tore down the whole thing, which - if you ask me - would be a real shame. In fact, I really like that grotto area. It would be great for a pool party and the bed with the shiny black bed spread would be great for a different kind of party - if you like that kind of thing of course. :)
very nice , I am with Helen , lets get rid of the trophy room, overall I like it , of course the interior is completely staged , don't like the lack of colors , but that is staging for you !What a property though eh ? ! I do really like it , love the kitchen ! , love the pool area !
I like the fact that the colors are kept mostly at a neutral level - but then again this is exactly what you can expect of a Scandinavian. We are not into "noisy" colors and flowery wallpapers. We like to keep it simple and for a home of this grandor think they've done well to keep it as simple as you possibly can when you have a shit**** of money to spend. :) I like the house. I really do.
ahum ...I am not into flowery wallpaper and noisy colors either , but I do like some color !
This place reminds me of a resort.. A bit over the top.. But then as I said in part one.. Michael would have had it redone into his own wonderland.. And yes nix the trophy room....
I don't think it is over the top for a home of this "grandor.". Over the top for me is something like the interior decoration of Hayvenhurst. All the flowery wallpapers make my head spin! :)But as I said in my previous reply - I am Scandinavian so of course my taste will differ from most of yours. And it is just fine! If there wasn't something for everyone's taste, we'd all be fighting over the same houses, right?
